I enjoy building global and local teams, forging partnerships, and designing systems (monitoring, data, financial and operational) to scale and to grow impactful work. Currently, at Busara as Chief Operating Officer I focus on building and strengthening the organization to deliver on its mission to advance and apply behavioral science in alleviating poverty. 

Previously, at Evidence Action, I designed, tested and implemented at-scale education, deworming, iron and folic acid supplementation and safe water programs; developed team structures and managed talent; partnered with governments and philanthropies; and developed and executed monitoring and evaluation plans to scale evidence-based programs. Before moving to Kenya, I worked at Abt Associates and Institute of Financial Management and Research (IFMR) in India evaluating multiple market-based partnerships for health and running lab-based randomized controlled trials.

I have an MBA from Oxford University’s Said Business School, a Masters degree in Economics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
