Here we try to  understand the motivations of Yusudi’s customers in Kenya so as to optimize their online learning platform. This study delves into psychological drivers like self-efficacy, motivation, and commitment devices that influence learning behavior.

Yusudi aims to offer a personalized learning experience by tailoring content to individual learning styles and interests. Busara partnered with Yusudi to conduct a behavioral science approach. A survey was designed to comprehend participants’ learning styles, motivations, goals, and psychological profiles. The survey aimed to inform interventions and enhance the learning experience for different learner types.

The insights allowed Yusudi to identify the characteristics of its learners and customize the learning experience accordingly. By tailoring content and interventions, Yusudi addressed critical features missing for certain learners, ultimately improving course completion rates. The segmentation approach demonstrated its potential for wider applications, such as designing behavior change campaigns in different contexts.
